Overview. The first step in the ACH process is to review the information contained in the intelligence scenario and identify 3-5 ways in which you think the scenario could possibly unfold. Remember to “think outside the box” as the purpose of this step is to brainstorm possible hypotheses.
Option 2: At this point we will discard any potential hypotheses that you came up with and we will now work off of the same 3 hypotheses. Follow the instructions in the Word document “ACH Step 2” and make a list of significant evidence for and against each argument.
