Discuss on what is Common Stock Valuation.
This is a Term Paper for my Financial Management class (MBA Level).
We can pick a stock from any public company, analyze it (following the guidelines attached), and provide recommendations. The company I picked is Philip Morris International.
Please read carefully the document attached since it has all the guidelines for the project.
Here is a summary of what the project must include:
1. Executive summary of findings and recommendations
2. Description of the company’s core business and the market it serves. Include SWOT analysis.
3. Risk and return analysis (compute some metrics and ratios and annualized measures)
4. Do a Capital Asset Pricing Model running a linear regression
5. Do a stock valuation via discounted dividend model. Using CAPM
6. Do a stock valuation via free cash flows
7. Provide recommendations (whether to buy/sell/hold stock)
The main text should be 10 pages double spaced. There should be tables and figures included with captions and legends (not included in the 10 pages)
Please include references and citations.
It needs to be Letter-size paper with 1″ margins on the top, bottom, left, and right.
A 12-point serif font, such as Times New Roman, Book Antiqua, and Georgia.
Each page needs to be numbered in the bottom center of the page.
Send it as a Word document.
