Fragmented (Ideology) Narrative will consist of three (3) microstories, connected by an identifiable thread. For this post, please complete the following:
Choose three (3) of your “The Time Whens” that you believe are linked. These three should have some thread that ties them together (abstract or concrete). Maybe they’re connected by a person, place, or event; maybe they all involve an activity, object, or incident; maybe they’re all examples of xenophobia, sexism, privilege, trauma. When you’ve chosen your three, copy/paste them here and explain the thread(s) that ties them together.
For each of your three selections, brainstorm the following details: Who, What, When, Where, Why. Who was there (what were they wearing, doing, saying, etc) What was happening around you (sounds, smells, textures, setting details, etc). When did this happen (season, date, setting details, etc)? Where were you (be specific: details details details)? Why was this happening (what caused it, what led up to this moment, what followed)?
Respond to at least one (1) of your peer’s posts with the following: What’s one specific, concrete detail that could add depth to one of these microstory moments. What more would you like to know? What else do you need to see, hear, taste, smell the scene?
