Your comparison work might examine the social, economic, and cultural conditions on contact, departure, or arrival, questions of “assimilation,” as well as the roles of stereotypes, discrimination, institutionalized racism at the intersections of power, or other elements of our curriculum so far that you find particularly relevant for comparative analysis. Use the essay to identify similar and divergent patterns in two ethnic groups’ experiences as racialized groups.
-Argue for political solidarity/unity between the two groups based on what you wrote (and other course sources if desired).
Requirements

-Cite both textbook chapters per your comparison of ethnic groups
-Cite textbook Ch 4: Definitions generously
-Cite at least 1 other course reading (non textbook reading)
-Cite at least 1 film clip from Modules or textbook, for a total of a minimum of 5-course sources integrated into the essay (No need to use outside sources in this essay)
