Group Teaching Video: 15 minutes. Record on Zoom. Turn on live transcriiption. Make sure we can see and hear all of the group members. Group grade.
1. Read the course material for the week. Reflect on it using the questions that the textbook poses, mapping the concepts, and connecting it to the course material of previous weeks.
2. In your group, brainstorm the central concepts that you want to teach. What do you want us to know? What is important to understand? What do you learn from each of the authors? How does this course material add to what you already know? How does it change what you already know?
3. Think about how you will divide up the conversation. Be sure that you are each adding something new to the discussion. Do not repeat each other. Each group member must speak.
4. Have notes in front of you.
5. Develop at least 3 critical reflection questions for further discussion that you pose to the class in your video. Explain why the questions are important to consider.
4. Practice teaching together. Record your group teaching and watch it together so you can improve it. Be sure time yourselves. .
Write a comprehensive self-reflection about your group participation and answer all of the following questions. How did you show up? What did you like about your contribution? What would you improve? Was anything surprising? Did you like working with a group? What skills do you have and need to work well with others? 300 words
Also please make sure each power point slide come with a good amount of notes.
