Projects Instructions: will be assigned two corporations for ragestered company that are listed in one of the following markets; Emirates Stock Market, Bahrain Stock Market, Saudi Arabia Stock Market, United Arab and Kuwait Stock Exchange or other Foreign Market and that operate in one of the following active industries: Industrial; Services; Communications. (The two corporations must be from different industries). – Using the latest available data on Stock Market and Annual Reports of all companies (Use only available data from 2014 to 2020), and by particular reference to the financial statements and accompanying notes: •Introduce your chosen corporations, and Collect the a necessary financial data regarding to return for each chosen corporation (K1) [4 marks] •Formulate a hypothesis to be tested through business data measurements. (C2) [4 marks] •Compute and interpret summary measures of business data including (Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Coefficient Variation, etc. Advice investor in which corporation shall invest based on your analysis. (S1) [4 marks] •Construct and interpret tabular and graphical summaries of return data for each chosen corporation. . (S2) [4 marks] •Present your work and explain the main ethical concepts that utilizing statistics in your project. (C3) [4 marks] Guideline: Each report should meet the following requirements: 1. There should be a Covering page, Executive summary, and References. 2. Reports should be typed, 1.5 spaced, on one side of the paper only 3. Pages are numbered 4. 3 cm margin on all sides 5. Referencing follow the following format: Book [Brown, J, (1998) Essay Writing for University Students, Sage, London], Journal Article [Brown, G. (1998) “Some things …”, Journal of Self Improvements, Vol. 3, No. 2, pp 4-15., and for others follow an acceptable academic format. The due date of submission of the reports will be on Week 14.
