Discuss on Lucilia sericata/ Phaenicia sericata (aka Maggot)The objective of PART 2 is for you to identify any research topic associated with the insect that interests you and summarize the research in a cohesive essay. You must clearly describe the purpose of the studies, the hypotheses, how the hypotheses were tested (experiments), and the findings and conclusions. There must be logical connections between the research studies, such that the essay has a logical flow.
Written in essay format.
Minimum 4-page paper (but no more than 5 pages; 1-inch margins, 12 pt. font, 1.5 line spacing). References and pictures/diagrams/graphs do not count towards the page limit.
A minimum of 6 research articles – must be cited with clear, concise descriiptions of the hypotheses, experiments, and conclusions for each article. Not all of the experiments in each study need to be described – just the ones you think are important for your paper. You cannot summarize content from websites, books, or review papers, because these are already summaries of research studies.
You should not be repeating the contents from PART 1 of the assignment unless that information is necessary for the reader to understand the research studies.
References/citations are in the Vancouver (numbered) style, same as PART 1.
The sources need to be research studies done by scholarly sources.
