I need a scenario for a semi-structured interview / an in-depth interview. I hereby provide all the necessary information:
Keywords: corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, green behavior, environmental management.
1. Interviewee: the interviews will be conducted with company owners or their representatives.
2. Main topic: employee green behavior. The main topic of the thesis is employee green behavior. A quantitative questionnaire will be used in order to explore this topic. The IDIs with company owners are supposed to give a better idea about the green setting of the company and how they approach employee green behavior.
3. Secondary topic: environmental management solutions implemented by the company.
4. I have so far compiled the following research questions:
a. What actions do companies undertake in order to promote green behavior among their employees?
b. Do companies calculate their environmental footprints? If yes, how?
c. What do companies do in order to reduce their negative environmental impact?
4. Can we speak of a person-organization fit in the case of the selected companies? (i.e., does a green company equal to a green employee?) I have so far compiled the following questions for the company owner’s / representatives:
I. Please describe the recruitment process at your company. If not mentioned, ask the following: – do you ask your candidates about their attitude towards environmental issues? – do you care whether your future employees behave in a green manner / care about the environment?
II. What type of tools does your company use in order to encourage green behavior among the employees?
I was thinking about dividing the scenario into the following four parts:
1. Information about the interviewee.
2. Information about the company.
3. Environmental management of the company / corporate environmental responsibility.
4. Promoting employee green behavior.
