This research paper will analyze the impact COVID-19 has had on the transportation management system. This will be accomplished by analyzing historical data from the history of the transportation management system (TMS) and scholarly peer-reviewed journals and research regarding TMS. The research paper will look at how COVID-19 has changed how the world does business. What has COVID-19 exposed as the current system limitations, and what are the future transportation management goals? We will also look at the disruptions in transportation and logistics services, including impact on transportation and logistics data, time delays, and cargo cancellations due to cramped freight capacity, restricted circulation, closure of ports, and future implications and strategies to mitigate these factors.
