A. Explain why white-collar crime has damaging social and physical costs. Why do these costs often outnumber the costs of traditional street crime?
Your answer must include actual cases as examples for social and physical costs along with research on comparative monetary losses
B. Why do you think state oversight of white-collar crime is not very effective? How could you make it more effective?
Your answer must (as a start) include a discussion of agencies (Municipal, State, Federal) responsible for combating various types of white-collar crime. The second part of the question will require innovative ideas to tackle some of the problems faced by these agencies.
C. What would critical theorists say about white-collar crime?
As a start, include opinions of theorists from Part VII: Bonger, Currie and Colvin.
