The following items are the components you should focus on the most.
Remember to also revise generally, respond to your peer’s feedback, and polish your essay (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.) last.
– Formatting issue with header, title, font, MLA style, and/or spacing, etc.
-Topic sentences: make sure that your topic sentences and your transition sentences are clear. Don’t shy away from direct language. It is very important to let your reader know what to expect in the following paragraph.
– SH reader analysis needs more depth — WHY would they react the way you are saying? Make sure that you are covering SH readers for each section of your analysis.
-Evidence: what kind of evidence does the author use to support their reasons? How/why do they use this evidence? Is it successful? Why is it successful or not?
– The ethos section needs more specific proof and analysis about how these things are working to support the author’s argument. You should also go into more depth about how SH readers may respond to this.
