Explain and examine your social location through a public sociological lens applying concepts and theoretical insights toward an empirical analysis of family and self. Due to the amount of work included in the project as well as number of points, this project will be completed in parts. The final part of the project will be submitted during the module six. Upon completion of this project you should have a broader understanding of sociology, develop new technological skills, and familiarity with different presentation programs.

You will complete this project in three parts. Each part covers a block of chapters you are studying in the modules. By the end of the course, your sociological analysis of your social location will cover every chapter in the modules you study in the course.
Part one will be submitted in module two.
Part two in module four.
Final part three in module six.
Address the prompts using sociology from the chapters covered in the modules to support your ideas. Some prompts will ask specifically about you and your immediate family while others will look at other influences and social institutions.
Connect sociological concepts from different module chapters.
Remember the sociological analysis of your social location should be done objectively and value free using concepts, theories, and ideas you are learning in sociology. It is not a criticism or critique, but an objective overview of how sociology applies to your social location. Be honest and objective in your analysis.
Completed Sway presentations should be embedded as well as link shared in Blackboard assignment by the due date in each module.
