Hello, this is an portfolio asssignment that the outcome reflects my level of experience targeting a course to be credirted for.

The introduction needs to felct my experience and can’t have any contractions within the assignement ex: you, your, can’t doesn’t, etc. )

Each outcome needs to have min. 600 words or 1.5 page, my instructor just changed the requirements.

Now the instructor requires me to provide more in depth on relating my expserience to my evidence in each outcome not just the conclusion.

Update: Hi Samantha – it is 600 words minimum. If I typed 500 words before I am sorry for the typo. 600 words is simply just a minimum starting point, but I typically recommend at least 1.5 pages per outcome to be able to convey your mastery to the evaluator. I find the more content, the better as it gives the evaluators more of an opportunity to find what they are looking for.
You do list the evidence at the end of your outcome discussion and refer the evaluator to find that document, but I would encourage you to include these documents into your discussion a bit more. Talk about why each document proves your learning and explain this to the evaluator. The more you can show them your mastery of the outcome, the more likely you are to get credit for the course. You’ve put in a lot of work on this draft, and it shows! Many of the details we discussed in earlier drafts are much better now.
I do still see some stray capitals. For example–

Don’t capitalize the underlined words. Use the list I gave you before to proofread carefully. For each capitalized word in your paper, use the list to check it. If it fits one of the things on the list, then it’s correct to capitalize it. For example, the first word in a sentence is capped. People’s names are capped. The names of cities and states are capped. If we go down the list, item by item, we won’t find an item that covers the underlined phrase in the sentence above. So we know it should not be capitalized.
Here’s another example of extra capitals that should be lower case–
While there are some differences between Contract Management and Supplier Management, they are both intertwined in that it is impossible to undertake successful Supplier Management if the fundamental Contract Management practices are not followed.
Also, avoid contractions in formal academic writing. Instead of didn’t, write did not. This is a tone issue, not a grammar error, but it’s still important for these papers.
Also, it’s best to avoid you and your — stick to he/she/it/they or I/we. The problem with you and your is another issue of tone. These pronouns give the writing a directive tone that’s not suited to this kind of writing. Like contractions, they’re fine for other kinds of writing, just not here.
The reference citation looks great! Just use bold font for the word Reference at the top of that page, and that should be all you need.

This is a great second draft of your DOLs. Your intros, supporting evidence lists, conclusions and reference lists look great. You do a great job describing your roles and experiences, but it is important that you include stories, personal examples, and your evidence directly into the body of your paper. Each outcome should have at least 1 piece (preferably 2 pieces) of evidence discussed within the body of the discussion. You should direct the evaluator to this evidence by saying “Please see evidence A” and then describing why this particular piece of documentation shows your experience and mastery of this outcome. I do see that you do this, but be sure to be specific and include stories and examples, as well.
Samantha – Please revisit the matrix feedback and recent e-mail I sent to you before you continue with your DOLs. You did not include all outcomes, which you will need to do in order to submit for evaluation. It is also important to not work ahead in this class, as feedback from me is important to ensure you are creating the strongest DOL and portfolio.
