Problem-solving
– Some will be relatively standard and can be solved easily if you
understand the lectures

Others will be harder and require you to intelligently use the toolkit
provided in the lectures

It is not just about getting to the answer, full mark will be awarded if
you provide a clear and complete reasoning
(Very) Short Essay (100-500 words)
– Short does not mean quick! Answers must be polished

Focus on what is most important

Provide a clear and concise argument
–
You will not be penalised for providing a different answer to what I had
in mind, as long as it is well supported
–
You will not be penalised for English mistakes or typos, as long as your
argument makes sense
