Purpose: A reflection paper is a form of writing that allows you to examine and analyze your development. You will demonstrate to your reader that you understand the subject material theory, and that you have thought critically about your development. Reflective papers are based upon your own experiences, so it is expected that you write about your experiences, ideas, and opinions. At the same time, do not let a focus on creativity take precedence over the important task of proving to your reader how you have grown. Further, a reflection paper is meant to illustrate your understanding of the lesson material and how it will affect your ideas and possible practice in the future.
Assignment: Analyze the concepts and theories you read about in O101 and O109; utilizing the key concepts, theories and doctrinal terminology, reflect upon how you can apply the concepts of mission command and unified land operations within your current or a future assignment as a graduate of the Sergeants Major Course-DL.
