You are to propose a study or series of studies that will systematically test a
hypothesis that you find interesting. The hypothesis only has to be related to
something from a topic in social neuroscience, using neuroscience
methods, but can certainly go beyond what you learned and/or be based on
extracurricular readings. Get creative!
