In my word document, I have highlighted the question I have chosen
and listed it below it’s #1.
Othello depicts what the “green-eyed monster” of jealousy can do to a person. Although Othello’s wife, Desdemona, is completely faithful to him, Othello starts to believe that she is having an affair with Cassio. For this week’s Discussion Board post, choose ONE of the following questions to answer in an essay of at least 200 words.
How does Iago plant the seeds of doubt in Othello’s mind as to Desdemona’s faithfulness to him? Refer to specific lines showing Iago’s plot in action.
***(When you cite lines, don’t give page numbers. Instead, refer to the Act, Scene, and line numbers.) Make sure you cite the ORIGINAL Shakespearean language, not a modern adaptation.***
Imagine that you are Iago. You have successfully managed to make Othello jealous of his wife who has done nothing wrong. You, Iago, are proud of your skills at manipulating people and have decided to offer some seminars to teach others how to do it as well.
Write up a paragraph or two in which you, Iago, give one of your lessons.
