this unit, you have studied the history of the Jewish, Christian, and
Islamic faiths. Like all religions, these three faiths have both
similarities and differences. To help you distinguish them and practice
your understanding of the religions we explored in this unit, you will
select a topic from below and compare and contrast that topic across the
religions in this unit. You should refer to the chapters and specific
page numbers within your textbook when necessary. You may also include
additional resources if that is helpful–just be sure to cite them
appropriately.

Explain
how salvation is reached according to each of the three religions in
this unit. Different religions hold varying beliefs on how to reach
salvation, and even within a given religion, there are many different
interpretations of what a follower needs to do/believe to be “saved.”
Describe
the acts, rituals, and symbols specific to each of the religions, and
explain their meaning and importance within that religion.
