The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to complete an online database literature search on a topic of interest using the PICOT question you developed in Part One. This will contain the needed evidence for your practice improvement project. Students must review at least five (5) peer – reviewed, current journals or research articles related to the selected topic (All must be dated within the last 5 years). You will then write a 3-page formal paper (literature review) that includes: an introduction, identification of the focus of the search and explaining your interest in the topic and its importance to patients. You should also include a reference page, using APA 7th edition formatting (minimum of 5 references must be used). Your content should answer the following questions: What are you trying to improve? Why did you select this problem? How you intend to make the improvement.
