Atlas Case Study and Alignment with Theorists and Theories PowerPoint Presentation Purpose: This assignment will provide you with an opportunity to become an expert on an educational theorist of your choice. By doing this assignment you will gain a better understanding of educational theory and its intersectionality within the educational classroom situation(s) and its application and implications for classroom management. Your next step is to locate an Atlas Case Study that reflects the use of this theory and discuss it within your presentation. Using the information collected, you will prepare and present one Theorist/Case Study PowerPoint presentation. Please create a PowerPoint Presentation that addresses each of the following: 1. Theorist – Introduce the theorist and include historical information about their education. Provide a short summary outline of the theories that apply to him or her, historical information about their key theories, and how these theories have been applied in the past within educational settings. 2. Educational Theory – Describe their key theories relevant to education and/or behavior. 3. Atlas Case Study – Briefly describe the Atlas Case Study be sure to include the Case Study Number. In your own words, describe why you believe this Atlas Case Study reflects this theorist and theory(s). 4. Application – Explain how this theory(s) is applied within the educational setting of your chosen Case Study. Read through the Commentary included within the Case Study that is found in Atlas and explain how the Commentary includes a description that also reflects this theorist and theory(s). 5.
