Prompt- In The Time of the Butterflies

If we were to define feminism as the desire for equality among the sexes, how did the sisters’ behavior reflect the desire to be treated as equal to men? How was Trujillo’s government especially repressive to women, and what experiences did the sisters have that made them feel unequal?
