1. AI is a hot topic in computing but there is a
long way to go before computers can actually be called intelligent. However,
advances made in recent years allow the use of AI in targeted
applications. What are the moral, ethical, and safety implications of
using AI in cybersecurity? Would you use AI to help secure a network for which
you are responsible? Answer both questions separately in one full page.
2. Both computer hardware and software have
needed to undergo substantial changes due to threat actors. What are some of
the changes that computers, OSs, and applications have undergone to increase
security? Fully develop this question in one page.
3. How has the need for SecDevOps changed the way
applications are developed? What are the implications of these changes? Answer
both questions separately in one full page.
4. Embedded systems and IoT devices are almost
everywhere you look. This includes devices like security cameras and motion
sensors. Make a list of common items that have embedded computers that
connect to a network. What are the security and privacy concerns of the
devices? What do you think should take precedence: security or privacy? Answer
all three requirements in one full page.
