As we’ve learned thus far, we should not only work to know ourselves and where we come from as humans, but also others around us. As Americans, we believe that our country is one of the best countries to live in and many Americans are proud to be citizens of this country. With our previous units and the ideas stated above in mind, we should take Gee’s advice and work to improve our American society by looking at it critically from the inside. There are many human rights problems that are present in America every day.
