DETAILS:
After completing your stakeholder analysis you decided to review your findings with Amanda Simmons the Vice President of Global Operations and project sponsor. She immediately looks worried with your list of stakeholders and their communication needs. She realizes that there are a lot of people involved in this project that work remotely and is concerned with your lack of experience in leading a virtual team. You have worked on global projects in the past, but never lead or worked on a virtual team before. Amanda asks you to consider some of the challenges that you will face in trying to manage a virtual team. She wants you to write down these challenges, describe them, and provide examples of solutions you plan to use to mitigate these virtual team barriers.
