This week’s article examines why so many well-resourced, historically strong companies fail to keep pace with digital-native challengers. The authors suggest that these company’s failure may be in part because it is hard to walk away from their current business model that has been successful for many years. But another possible reason could be that new disrupters also have access to better data and thus know more about their customers.
