*additional context- a second-generation Nigerian immigrant, and as the oldest child in my family, carry the responsibility of being both a role model and a guiding figure. Being the firstborn daughter, this role often means that take on the responsibility of caring for my family and siblings, sometimes feeling like a third parent. It requires me to balance the demands of family life, culture, and expectations while managing my own personal aspirations and challenges.
