Leadership is about guiding and inspiring others to work toward a common goal, whereas management is about organizing and controlling resources to meet specific targets. Different theories and styles note how leaders can effectively influence their teams. Knowing the difference between leadership and management and understanding these ideas are important for building your leadership skills and using them in various situations.
