The role of camels from an economic perspective through the sale of their milk and meat in the markets as a source of food security in the Kingdom, as the Kingdom has begun to celebrate the Year of the Camel every year, and also departments have been established in some Saudi universities concerned with research related to camels, as well as the establishment of clinics for veterinary sciences, and also exploiting them through promoting Saudi culture and identity and promoting them as a tourist attraction.
