If no one has told you yet, you should know that you have a right to take up space in your education: taking up space means physically existing in a space, speaking out in the silence, paving the way for educational needs or strategies that haven’t been acknowledged before, and exploring your ideas with the accommodations and challenges that create the best possible opportunities for your learning.
Through your research project, we ask, how will you use your space to take advantage of your education? How can you or will you make space for others like you to succeed in their education in the future?
Make sure that your essay is in the proper formatting (double-spaced; 12-point Times New Roman, Arial, or Helvetica font throughout; heading on the top left of your first page including your name, my name, the class title, and the due date 12 December 2024; header on the top right of every page including your last name and the page number; a Works Cited with hanging indents for every alphabetized entry).
