Final Project (3 Part) Series Overview: Transforming Organizational Behavior with Emerging Technologies This three-part final project will apply course concepts to develop a comprehensive strategy for transforming organizational behavior through emerging technologies. You will focus on a global or multinational organization (real or hypothetical) and explore how AI, automation, cloud-based platforms, data-driven decision-making, and other technologies can enhance collaboration, productivity, engagement, and organizational culture. Each part of the project allows for several submission options: a written report, slide presentation, infographics, and/or video submission. Submission from one of these formats should demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and the application of course concepts. Part 1: Technology Audit & Proposal (Due Week 10, 100 Points) Objective: Conduct a Technology Audit of your chosen organization, identifying existing technologies and gaps. Propose an initial plan for leveraging emerging technologies to enhance organizational behavior. Instructions for Written Report: Introduction to Organization (10 Points) Briefly introduce your chosen organization (real or hypothetical). Provide an overview of the organization’s industry, size, and key challenges related to organizational behavior. Technology Audit (30 Points) Identify and evaluate the current technologies the organization uses for collaboration, communication, HR, and decision-making. Assess gaps in technology that hinder organizational behavior (e.g., lack of collaboration tools, inefficient data systems, or outdated communication platforms). Proposal for New Technologies (40 Points) Propose two or three emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud platforms, gamification, blockchain) that could address the gaps identified in the audit. Explain how each technology could enhance organizational behavior (e.g., improving employee engagement, productivity, collaboration, or decision-making). Include examples from companies that have successfully implemented similar technologies. Challenges and Considerations (20 Points) Identify potential challenges with implementing the proposed technologies (e.g., employee resistance, ethical concerns, privacy issues). Suggest initial strategies to overcome these challenges. Instructions for Slide Presentation: Create a 10-12 slide presentation covering the same points as the written report. Introduction (1-2 slides): Brief overview of the organization and its challenges. Technology Audit (3-4 slides): Evaluate current technologies and gaps. Proposal for New Technologies (4-5 slides): Propose technologies and explain their impact on organizational behavior. Challenges and Considerations (2-3 slides): Identify challenges and offer strategies to address them. Include visuals (charts, diagrams, or images) to enhance understanding.
