You did well with identifying a strategy for fostering collaboration among the team (decisions by consensus). Being more specific as to the exact decision strategy you would use would strengthen this discussion and highlight your competencies. I encourage you to think about other strategies, such as team building exercises, ice breakers, brainstorming and vision statements. Interprofessional collaboration is essential to 21st century healthcare delivery and the improvement of patient outcomes. I am confident you will continue to develop your understanding of collaboration and its’ significance in today’s complex and constantly changing healthcare environment.

To discuss the characteristics of diversity, it would be necessary to identify what diversity means and how diversity looks in an organization. Likewise, you did not describe INCLUSION. For example in an inclusive workplace, the employees feel a sense of belonging, feel heard, collaborate with each other, etc. Note that a workplace can have strong diversity, and still not be INCLUSIVE.
