Reflection Paper Purpose

The purpose of this reflection paper is to work to make sense of what you read based on Literary Theory and reflect on questions within the reflection paper instructions.

REFLECTION PAPER INSTRUCTIONS

In this Reflection Paper, carefully consider the section Writing about Race, Ethnic, and Cultural Identity: A Process Approach. Your job in this reflection is to choose one of the stories or poems from this unit in the Reading Assignments section (not the examples from How to Read like this kind of critic) and interpret the story or poem as if you were a Race, Ethnic, and Cultural Identity, critic.

While it may be helpful to look up the definitions of difficult or obscure words, you are expected to do NO outside research. The paper needs to be 500 words and follow MLA guidelines for formatting, quoting, summarizing, in-text citations, and works cited entries. (See Unit 4).
