This is a major project that requires using both primary (interviews) and secondary (print/library) sources for your research. It will be 4-5 pages (minimum of 4 full pages, 1500 words) and have two major components embedded in it” a Cultural/Historical Analysis and Interview Information. ~ Use pertinent examples from your research and/or interviews in your paper. Use at least TWO library/academic sources and TWO interviews that you conducted; cite your references in the body of the paper. NO WEBSITES, BLOGS, OR CHILDREN’S BOOKS ARE PERMITTED FOR THIS PAPER. although online journals are fine.
~ You need to cite a source even when you are paraphrasing or summarizing material from it. (The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation).

~ Include a Bibliography page at the back of your paper.
~ After you are done, turn on the Similarity Report in Turnitin to see where you might have accidentally quoted something and not cited it. This will cost points. Make sure your Similarity is less than 25%, otherwise, too many quotes mean we don’t get to hear YOUR voice in your paper.
~ Remember that this assignment stresses your ability to do excellent research, not asking what you already may know about the topic.
