Film and edit a movie trailer for a movie that has already been released. It will help if it is a movie you are familiar with and have seen several times. The length of your movie trailer should be 1.5 minutes (90 seconds) to 2.5 minutes (180 seconds). Be creative!
If you are unable to complete the Movie Trailer assignment as a result of COVID-19, you may instead write a 3 to 5 page paper on a film from the list below that represents some of the best editing in cinema. The paper should discuss the film as a whole but focus on the creative choices made in cinematography, not just about the narrative. You will need to watch the film on DVD or a streaming service you have access to prior to writing the paper. I have also attached a general document on film elements to assist you.
