Conduct two (2) interviews with individuals who are currently in the food and / or hospitality industry that hold management positions. Explore how those individuals and their companies are navigating operations during the previous or current turbulent times.
Based on the research you conducted, you will develop and post a PowerPoint or slide deck (or equivalent) that compares each company’s approach to crisis management. The content in your slide deck should address the following questions:
• Do food businesses have a higher obligation to the community than other industries?
• Why do you think leaders panic in crises?
• Does ethical leadership mean we must go beyond what the law requires?
• Why is open and honest communication so important?
