What alternatives are there, and how could those alternatives reshape children’s experiences and learning?

Subject: Do My assignment

For this assignment, you’ll select one school practice or policy to analyze at least 500~700 words (be efficient with your words).
Your analysis is a deconstruction of the practice or policy. That is, many of these traditional practices and policies we live with in school are considered “normal” and a “natural” part of school. We rarely ever question their purpose, how they are enacted, and how they might be beneficial or even harmful (or exclusionary). In this analysis, I’m asking you to really uncover things that you did not know about these school practices and policies.
You should do research on this via Google, including finding and viewing YouTube clips of these practices in action (how they’re typically enacted) (if applicable). I have linked each of the following to a reading that I hope will challenge your view of the practice/policy. You can bring in personal experience into your analysis, but it should also demonstrate outside research that you’ve done. Include at least 3 additional sources in addition to the one I’ve provided. That is, you should draw from at least 4-5 reputable sources for your analysis.
Options include the following:

Pledge of allegiance (Links to an external site.) (another article here (Links to an external site.))
Word walls (Links to an external site.)
Physical education class (Links to an external site.)
Bathroom restrictions (Links to an external site.)
(Links to an external site.)Field trips (Links to an external site.)
Dress codes (Links to an external site.)
Attendance policies (Links to an external site.)
These are the questions that should guide your analysis.
What is it and how does it get enacted typically?
What does it assume about children (their value and how they learn)?
How does it benefit children? How does it not? Who could it potentially exclude?
What alternatives are there, and how could those alternatives reshape children’s experiences and learning?

RUBRIC:
The analysis addresses ALL questions posed in a sufficient and thoughtful way. (70 points)
The analysis draws on external research and information from reputable sources. It uncovers something about the school practice or policy that lies below the surface. (70 points)
The analysis includes at least 3 resources beyond the one provided in the list above. So there should be at least 4-5 sources in the reference list. The reference list is at the bottom of the paper, and those resources contribute to the analysis (so there aren’t resources that are just listed for the sake of listing them). (20 points)
The analysis is carefully written and edited. (40 points)
