For this project you will have to submit a project report in which you collect observational data on a specific phenomenon using one or more of the methods introduced in class (Typical scientific observational techniques). Maximum length of the document is 3000 words (excluding figures and tables and the Appendix), minimum is 2000 words.
Start from a problem and trying to find out how do people/animals solve that problem (e.g. how do people build things together, how does a comedian creates jokes, how a street speaker gathers an audience and keeps the audience attending, how skateboarders/bikers move around campus given the hills, how an animal caches food, how people tell stories, how a shop divides tasks among employees, how long is the line when shops open up another cash register, how do people navigate moving through spaces and looking at their phones, etc.) But do not be confined to campus. Please be creative and look outside. Consider also problems that go beyond a student’s everyday life.
