Part One – Reflection (6 marks)
Describe a situation where you were involved in a decision that involved more than two parties. Think of something at work, at home, in school, sports, anything that involved getting agreement from more than one other person and yourself. The more complex the situation, the better. Describe the situation, and all of the interests of the parties, including your own. Describe the process that was followed in order to reach the final decision. Now that you have done some reading about the different approaches to reaching agreements between multiple parties would you say that the approaches used in this situation was effective or not. Will the decision stick? Was it a good agreement or decision? Were you happy with the result? (approx. 1.5 pages)
Part Two – Apply the Theory (8 marks)
Take a situation you have just described and apply a scholarly lens. You may use the readings provide in this class, your own groups bibliography and or other sources you have come across that will support your analysis.

Part Three – Develop a Personal Development Plan (4 marks)
Becoming a good negotiator takes practice but is a life skill that will serve you professionally and personally. For this part, I would like you to identify some resources that you could personally use to develop your own negotiation skills and include an action plan. Why would you choose these for your own development? Why are they important for YOU to learn or understand in the context of your own life?
