Sw- When social media started, it was a way for people to connect and share things online. Now its a good way for communication, collaboration, and marketing. Television was originally developed in the 1800s, but it has progressed over the years. They have increased the picture, resolution, and changing the dimensions of the television receiver to show wide-screen pictures.
Television and social media has personally influenced me in many ways. On social media I have stayed in contact with family that I have never met in person. I’m not real big on television now, but when I was little and up through some of my adult years, television was a way to keep up with shows that I enjoyed and the local news.
As for my family and friends, I have a friend that met her husband of 10 years on Facebook and my mom found a friend that she lost contact with years ago. I have found some amazing people on TikTok that I enjoy watching, and it really helps with my mental health. Even though I have had a few bad experiences, the good outweighs the bad.
Cs-Two of the most common mass media’s that has evolved from their original state would be social media and television.
Social media plays a huge role in my everyday lifestyle, we’ve all become so dependent on it that it has been implemented into each of our daily routines.
Watching other people social medias has played in part in giving me a desire to want to become a social media influencer or a content creator. For this to happen I have to use all the different platforms to build my audience on a daily basis which can take time.
I use television for entertainment and to keep up with the latest news or dramas, before newspapers and magazines provided us with this information. Now you easily pull a channel that will provide you with latest or using phone, computer, tablet and other resources that can provide you with same information.
My family and friends use their social daily to communicate with one another or stay updated with each other’s lives. For instance, I have family member overseas in the military and their time zones differ from ours, so the best way for them to keep updated with us is by reaching out through different social media platforms. While television has help with bring families, friends and coworkers together, we can all enjoy or engage in each other’s company while being able to relate to something that we are all watching at once.
