(These were my favorite books I’ve ever read during my time in middle school and high school. I was an ESL student new to the US and had a limited vocabulary but as I learned English more and more these are some of the first books I read cover to cover and fell in love with the English Language. They are nastilgic, reminding me of the drive and push to learn a new language and acclimate in my new forever home- The USA)

4. How does the use of language in the chosen piece relate to morphological (free morphemes, bound morphemes, affixes) and phonological (alliteration, onomatopoeia, consonance, assonance) ideas and concepts?
