Compose a study that explains Proverbs Paper: An Examination of Work, Money, Bribery, and Business Practices. To properly complete the paper you should:
1. Read the Proverbs above and categorize each into one of the four required topics.
For example Proverbs 15:27 states “The greedy bring ruin to their households, but
the one who hates bribes will live.” This obviously relates to bribery so you will
categorize it as such.
2. For each topic, consider what all the proverbs related to that topic are saying about
it and try to draw one or two overall conclusions about that topic. While you should
consider all the Proverbs related to a topic, you don’t have to quote all of them. Only
quote those you need to support or illustrate your point. Also, be sure not to
overlook Proverbs that are seemingly contradictory to what you expect the Bible to
say about a topic. You need to reconcile the differences.
3. Look to other resources such as commentaries to see what they think the Proverbs
are saying about each topic and discuss how it relates to your own conclusion.
NOTE: A minimum of three sources are required for the paper. These sources
should include commentaries about the book of Proverbs which can be found in the
OC Library or on the Internet.
4. When writing your paper be sure to have the following sections:
a. Introduction
b. Money (priority of it; how to obtain and use it;)
c. View of work
d. The offering and accepting of bribes
e. How to conduct oneself in business and trade
f. Conclusion
5. Cite sources of all referenced sources (beyond the Bible) using APA Styling
standards.
• You do not need an abstract
6. Be sure to consider your grammar; thought organization; and internal paragraphing
