A therapeutic diet is
a meal plan that controls the intake of certain foods or nutrients. It is part
of the treatment of a medical condition and is normally prescribed by a
physician, planned by a dietician, and implemented by a registered professional
nurse. A therapeutic diet is
usually a modification of a regular diet.

This project will be completed as a tool for client
education. The format should be in the form of an educational flyer or poster
and in terms and language the clients will understand.
The student
will also prepare a Reference List according to APA 7th edition
format, submitted as a separate word-processed document. The Reference
List must include an APA 7th ed. formatted title page. One Website source (CDC, FDA.), and two peer-reviewed
nursing journal articles within the last 5 years are required. Please note:
