Discuss some rape trials involving famous persons, such as William Kennedy Smith and Mike Tyson, and how their cases illustrate problems of rape and the law.
Theories of Rape
Prepare and present a comprehensive discussion of why rape occurs. Present biological, psychological, and sociological views. More fully develop the idea of a culture of rape and trace its development and outcome. Also, more fully present feminist and sexual inequality positions and evaluate their ability to account for the widespread occurrence of rape. Show how different theories of rape lead to different policies and strategies to deal with this difficult problem.
