Welcome to the final writing assignment of the semester! I hope that these writing assignments have strengthened your writing skills – you’ll depend on these the rest of your life! I want you to use this assignment as an opportunity to reflect on this semester and what you have learned about the human condition. Nearly everything we have discussed in this class relates to you, directly.
First, you will select three topics or pieces of information that stood out to you this semester. In your paper, you will discuss why you found this information meaningful. Maybe it changed how you treat people, maybe it changed how you study, maybe it changed how you think about sensation, or consciousness, or personality! You will also discuss how you will use what you have learned in your future career. Consider the influence it may have on your treatment or perspective of future coworkers, clientele, etc.
This assignment is all about the application and implication of the material we covered this semester. Follow these guidelines for your paper (APA formatting is not required): 1. Title Your Paper “Closing Writing Assignment – Semester Reflection” 2. Use 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font, double-spaced 3. Organize your paper as follows (For the sake of this paper, a paragraph needs to be at least 3 sentences): Paragraph 1 – Introduction Paragraph 2 – Topic 1 Paragraph 3 – Topic 2 Paragraph 4 – Topic 3 Paragraph 5 – Career Application Paragraph 6 – Conclusion 4.
