Assignment Question

Investigate the role of symmetry using Fibonacci sequences and the application of fractals in musical compositions in terms of trigonometric functions across the Michael Jackson song ‘Billie Jean’ I am pretty stupid, so don’t make the math sound very sophisticated, it’s high school level math, you can use basic math if you want (don’t make it too dumb, but not too smart, write it like someone who is barely passing advanced high school math) I don’t need you to do the ”Criterion C: Personal Engagement’ section, you also don’t need to do the introduction or conclusion, just the math. If it’s okay, in the 3 graphs can you show the trigonometric functions in respect to the song? (like, the sound wave, and then the trig function on top of the sound wave, with the respective equation next to it, or something like that) You also don’t need to do the whole song, just half of it, or the main chorus is fine. Also, please do the graphs in desmos, I plan on replicating your calculations on another song on my own, so that I can at least feel like I did something, but I am only familiar on desmos. You can choose if you want to do fibonacci or fractals, you don’t have to do both, just choose one and that is enough. Since I am going to try and follow your calculations, can you please explain the steps and your reasoning throughout the paper? It is also part of the criteria anyways. If you want to know the syllabus for the course (so that you don’t write things that we haven’t covered, check pages 31 to 69 in the ‘Mathematics: analysis and approaches guide’ document.
