Final Paper The topic and hypothesis tested should be social media related and be analyszed using R language. For every assignment, you will receive a grade and feedback. You must address the comments from your past papers. You must combine your corrected assignments into one coherent final paper. Submitting all components without corrections will result in a failing grade for your final paper. You must add an introduction and a conclusion. Your revised paper should be no longer than 20 pages (excluding the work cited section). All assignments should be submitted with 1-inch margins and Times New Roman 12-point font. Sections included: Research Abstract Students will be required to submit a 200-word abstract. This abstract must include the following: (1) a research question (2) a brief theoretical overview (3) at least one hypothesis. All assignments should be submitted with 1-inch margins and Times New Roman 12-point font. Theory & Research Methods Students must complete a 7-page overview of the main theory they intend to test and the research methods they will employ to test their theory. Students are expected to draw briefly upon the existing literature on your topic of interest. You should briefly discuss alternative explanations.
In the research methods section, students must provide details on data collection. This includes a detailed discussion on how variables will be measured. Students need to explain how Sentiment Analysis will be used to test their hypotheses. It is expected that students will update this section as we continue to cover additional analysis techniques in class. This includes an overview of the tests you will use and your threshold for acceptance/rejection of your hypothesis/hypotheses. All assignments should be submitted with 1-inch margins and Times New Roman 12-point font. Data Collection – R language The next step will be to collect your data. You must submit an ‘Rdata’ file of your data. You must collect this data using R. You should also submit an R Script with your code that includes (1) how you collected your data, and (2) how you cleaned your data. The final paper should be well organized with the three sections above included following the specific requirement.
