An important part of being an effective leader is understanding your own leadership traits, styles, characteristics and preferences. Throughout the semester you have completed a series of self-assessments to help you better understand yourself as a leader. The purpose of this assignment is to review, summarize, analyze and synthesize what you gleaned from each assessment and reflect and share how this information may be used to inform future actions and decisions. The Personal Leadership Paper is to be reflective paper. It will be a report of your scores and outcomes of EACH assigned assessment, a reflection on what you learned from the assessment and examples from your personal experiences, and how you may use this in the future. After a strong introductory paragraph, each assessment summary paragraph must include (1) the purpose or intent of the assessment, (2) your personal scores and outcomes from the assessment, (3) reflection of what you learned and (4) personal examples or experiences, and (5) actions that could lead to positive changes. The paper will end with a strong summary paragraph. The final Personal Leadership Reflective Paper will be a report of assessment outcomes of each assigned assessment and what those scores mean, personal examples that support what you have learned and how knowing this can influence future actions and decisions. For each assessment be sure to include: purpose of the assessment, your personal assessment scores / outcomes from the assigned assessments, discussion of what these outcomes mean, example from your personal experiences how you can use what you have learned, and future actions and decisions.
