Assignment Question
Purpose The final project is an opportunity for you to delve more deeply into one of the fours aspects of the outdoor industry: conservation and stewardship, economic development, health and wellness, and education and workforce training.
This can be done by an experiential outdoor experience or research. Research paper topics:
How outdoor recreation impacts heath and wellness Required Elements Introduction Briefly describe the issue or question you addressed or what you did (in the case of an experience-based project).
State why what you researched or did or planned is interesting or important. Present your argument, in the case of a research paper.
Body Describe what you did or the elements of your plan/experience/research, or present the ideas and information that support your argument. Make sure there is a logical flow to your descriptions and/ or the ideas and information you present. Include supporting evidence for the information and analysis you present, using at least two external sources with citations and references. In the case of an experience-based project or plan, these could be sources that helped inform what you decided to do or support why it was important. Conclusion For a research paper, summarize how the evidence you presented supports your argument.
For an experience-based project, reflect on what you learned from the experience. For a plan, summarize how the plan elements you laid out will lead to the desired result.
