Read the (Smithsonian Museum Guide to Actions) (Interpretive Writing for Exhibitions Actions) Using the principles from this document, write an exhibition label for one selected pieces in the InHouse InSight: Works from the faculty and staff exhibition. To help you with your writing, you will need to read the (Artist Bio and Statement). You should also read the (curatorial statement)to guide you regarding the mood of the exhibition. Once you have read all these documents, you will need to write your label. The number of words permitted will be dictated by the type of label you select and should follow the guidelines found in the Smithsonian Guide.
