Please refer to his recorded presentation and his lecture slides to write up the Memo. Memos have a standardized form, so please get comfortable with the style and expectations of a Memo by reviewing Chapter 14 of your Markel class textbook. In the memo, you are expected to provide evidence/details that support your points. Letterhead, use template CSUB logo. Also, you should list Internal Memo at the top of the page. Your Memo must include the details at the top, including to, from, date, subject. Should include FOUR sections: 1) Purpose; 2) Summary; 3) Discussion of the Presentation; and 4) Takeaways. (Include these subheadings in the Memo.) Your role will be to provide the purpose of the memo and summarize the key points of the guest speaker’s talk. Then discuss specific examples/details of the presentation that supports the summary. For example, in the discussion of the presentation section, your memo should include details such as personal and professional experience and writing tips.
